Reiki has its roots in ancient energy healing practices, but was formally defined and described by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It's a hands-on healing technique; the healer uses her hands positioned near or on the body of the recipient in order to harmonize, balance and restore the body's energies.

Almost all of us have some stress in our lives. Reiki is an excellent way of unlocking and opening the inner flow of our vital energies, producing a deep relaxation and relief from that stress.
